What was your previous work experience before joining BBC?
“Before here I was in a management trainee program at Trade Home Shows, it’s a company only in the Midwest. Other than that I have had a bunch of manual labor jobs. One of them I worked a forklift which was boring but easy money.”
Since you started working here what was the best piece of advice that someone gave you?
“I think this was from Pat, but he told me to maintain the same attitude no matter where you are at. I haven’t been here that long but this advice has helped me out a lot.”
Once you get the opportunity to train others what advice will you pass on?
“I would tell them to set goals in order to keep the work ethic up. Attitude is everything.”
What is it that you like best about what you do here at BBC?
“I love talking to people. I really like the track to management at BBC too.”
What is your long term goal?
“My biggest goal is to be able to buy my daughter a house within the next 5-10 years. She is two years old and the most energetic child on the planet.”
If I were to go out to your car right now either what CD would be playing or what are your top songs on your IPOD?
“I don’t know what would be in there right now but I am a very superstitious and ritualistic person so I like to listen to Katy Perry’s 'Fireworks' before going out into the field every time. Sometimes I turn it up really loud and sing a little bit.”
What is your favorite place that you have traveled thus far?
“After visiting Alaska I could move there tonight. I went there for a friend’s wedding and it was the most beautiful place I’ve ever been.”
