Brad A. Surdam
Did you have any cool internships?
“My internship actually led to my first job which was with NASDAQ OMX as an internal auditor for global data usage compliance. I also had an internship with the Lebanon County Public Defender’s Office where I got to basically assist lawyers with court preparation; I even got to help out with a murder case.”
Since working at BBC, what was the best advice that someone here gave you?
“I think that the best advice that I got was to always have a positive attitude because you don’t know what the next day will bring.”
What is your favorite piece of advice that you like to pass on to those that you train?
“I like to tell people to ask as many questions as possible when with a potential customer, but in general I just like to tell people to have fun!”
What is it that you like best about what you do here at BBC?
“What I like best about BBC would definitely be the interaction with people, both in the office and in the field. I love to just talk to people and get to know them when I’m in the field and everyone in the office is great.”
Do you have any claims to fame?
“I played professional hockey for the Cape Cod Blue Fins for one year. I have been skating since I was 3 years old so hockey has always been a part of my life.”
What is your long term goal?
“I want to own three houses. One in the mountains, one on the beach and one…well one to just live in. The mountain house I would probably want to be in Denver, the beach house in South Carolina, and the third…well we will see!”
If I were to go out to your car right now what would be your top played songs on your IPOD?
“This morning I listened to Christmas music! My favorite Christmas song is the Carol of the Bells! I also like Remember the Name by Fort Minor.”
What is your favorite place that you have traveled thus far?
“So far I really liked going to South Africa to see the World Cup in soccer. As far as where I would still like to go I think Japan would be great! They are so advanced and have so many ideas; I want to see what knowledge I can bring back here.”
