Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, and Worth $2.5 Billion, Mark Cuban Has A Lot To Say....

As one of the most notorious self-made billionaires, as well as the owner of the Dallas Mavericks, Mark Cuban is one of BBC's favorite guys. We often post his articles and quotes, as his advice and outlook is something worth noting. Starting out from scratch, selling trash bags door to door, Cuban is a no nonsense type of guy. You can catch him on Shark Tank on ABC, helping budding business people and entrepreneurs launch their products. We found 20 quotes from Mark Cuban on Business Insider, many of which have made him one of America's favorite people. Here are some we love!

1. On becoming an "overnight success"
"It doesn't matter how many times you fail. You only have to be right once and then everyone can tell you that you're an overnight success."

2. On starting a business
"Don't start a company unless it's an obsession and something you love. If you have an exit strategy, it's not an obsession."

3. On making life fun for employees
"Keep a pulse on the stress levels and accomplishments of your people and reward them. "

4. On getting a "guaranteed return"
"If you've got $25,000, $50,000, $100,000 you're better off paying off any debt you have, because that's a guaranteed return."

5. On nepotism
"It's not about money or connections-it's the willingness to outwork and out-learn everyone....And if it fails, you learn from what happened and do a better job next time."

Meet one of our New Jersey Sales Reps!

Bryan Bach is one of our top trainers, and we decided to touch base with him to see what he's all about! Originally from Newton, New Jersey, Bryan attended college at East Carolina University where he studied Math. As the best "farm boy" around, Bryan spent most of his summers on a farm, where he grew anything from zucchini, peppers and pumpkins to fresh flowers. Not only one of the best sales reps at BBC, Bryan is quickly moving through our management training program, picking up leadership and management skills to further his career.

Here are a few questions we asked Bryan......

1. What is the best piece of advice that you've received while working with our company?

The best piece of advice I've gotten was the following: It's better to work hard and put the extra time in now, rather than working hard later when you could be missing out on things that will be more important to you.

2. What do you like most about working at BBC?

The thing I like most about what I do is being able to interact with different people everyday who all have different backgrounds. I like the challenge of trying to teach and mentor people who have unique learning styles.

3. What are your future plans and goals?

My long-term goal at BBC is to oversee my own office. Ideally I'd love to do this within the next year in either two of my favorite places: Myrtle Beach or Chicago. Outside of my professional career, I want to live a comfortable life. This means having the freedom financially to do whatever I want, including traveling and supporting my family.

4. Now on to the fun, personal stuff. What types of music do you listen to?

I like all types of music, beside country. In the mornings I listen to anything upbeat. I'm a big fan of funk music; the only cd I own is Earth, Wind & fire's greatest hits.

5. Where is your favorite place you've traveled to? If you could hop on a plane now, where would you go?

My favorite place I've been to is Paris. If I could leave today to go anywhere, I'd go to Egypt and see the pyramids.

The right way to use credit cards!

A big part of our Management Trainee program here is to teach people from the ground up and because of that it is the perfect place for a RECENT COLLEGE GRADUATE!

Now, I know first hand that coming out of school as a recent grad is stressful in many ways, namely financially.

According to Twentysomething Inc, a consulting firm geared toward young adults, a combination of MINIMAL ENTRY-LEVEL JOBS and OUTRAGEOUS STUDENT LOAN DEBT is leading young adults to wrack up their credit card debt while they are in school.

Now don't get me wrong, I am by no means claiming that credit cards as evil, they absolutely can be benficial in some ways but one bad slip and it's a long and painful fall.

(you don't want that to be you...)

So if you want to avoid staggering debt and lower than low credit scores with your diploma then here's a few things that you can do...

1.) Don't fall for the seemingly great interest rates that only last a few months, these rates are only introductory and as a college student you are targeted by credit card companies to sign up!

2.) If your parents or older siblings are a shiny example of financial stability/consistency, talk to them about being added as an authorized user on their card. This will simultaneously help both of you build your credit and will help you get better cedit card offers in the future. Like I said, not all of them are bad if used properly.

3.) Don't open 20 different credit cards, opt for one that is secured. With this option you place a certain amount of your money into an account which is used as a backup plan if you can't pay your balance so doing this only allows you to spend money that you already have.

So here it is people, IF you have one, use your credit cards wisely!

For all you upcoming college grads that are looking for entry level jobs check out our company!
